Automatically add devices from Jamf Pro into AssetNode as assets.

Log in to your Jamf Pro account
Navigate to your Jamf Pro instance URL.

Open user accounts
Under Settings → System → User accounts and groups, choose New.

Create a read-only account
Create a standard account with read-only privileges on computers and mobile devices. AssetNode signs in with this username and password — it does not use an API Role or API Client.

Enter credentials in AssetNode
Go to AssetNode Settings → Jamf Pro section.

Save and enable
Switch Enable on at the top of the panel, then click Save.

  • The first import starts within a few minutes of saving.
  • New devices added to Jamf Pro will automatically be added as assets.
