Personio HR Integration

Automatically sync employees from Personio HR into AssetNode. Active employees will be created and kept up to date.

Setup guide (6 steps)

Log in to Personio
Navigate to your Personio account at yourcompany.personio.de and sign in as an administrator.

Create API credentials
Go to Settings → Integrations → API Credentials. Click "Generate new credentials".

Set API permissions
Grant read access to "Employees" and "Employment details". These are the minimal required scopes.

Copy Client ID and Client Secret
Copy both the Client ID and Client Secret. You will need these in the next step.

Enter credentials in AssetNode
Go to AssetNode Settings → HR Sync section → Personio. Enter the Client ID, Client Secret, and click Save.

Verify sync
After saving, AssetNode will begin importing your employee directory. The first sync may take a few minutes.

After completing setup

  • Active employees from Personio will be automatically created in AssetNode.
  • Employee department, job title, and start date are synced from employment records.
  • If an employee is deactivated in Personio, they will be marked as inactive in AssetNode.
